Sao Tome

There is a good choice of accommodation in the city of Sao Tome with 3 hotels, a fourth nearing completion, to choose from other accommodation are guesthouses and pensions were you can experience the Santomean hospitality. Inland, there are many plantation houses that have opened their doors to take in tourists. Some still have minimum standards and offer basic but adequate accommodation, they can be used as centres for journeys out, walking and going off to the beach.

The Island of Principe

The island offers limited accommodation options but this is integral to its charm. There is a basic and mid-range hotel in the capital Santo Antonio and on the North coast there is the upmarket Bom Bom Resort.

There is only one place to stay on the island of Rolas – the upmarket Pestana Equador Resort. This is a high standard resort comprising of villa and bungalow style accommodation with direct access to the beach and landscaped gardens.
